McCain is proposing to give $5000 dollars a year to every family or $2500 to every individual, as well as tax any money that people's employers would give to them.
Most people would easily have to pay that much in 6 months, and much, much more per year.
Tell me why he thinks this is going to work?

i don't think that the government should provide free healthcare... i think it is an effort to alleviate some (not all) of the costs in order to make it more affordable (not free) for americans (while still keeping health care in the private sector, as i feel it should remain).
